U.S. Army Air Forces (USAAF) Military SHIRT
A vintage US military shirt in khaki. It features a pointed collar, button front and long sleeves with button cuffs. It also has two buttoned breast pockets. It has a rank badge on each shoulder- the rank of corporal and also a circular blue patch with a white star and golden wings which is the official USAAF shoulder sleeve insignia, approved in February 1942 on the left shoulder. These shirts were part of the standard USMC summer service uniform used during World War II and the Korean War. While they were replaced in the late 1960s/70s by newer poly-wool blends.
100% cotton
In very good vintage condition, all buttons present, no visible rips or marks to the fabric. Has a tiny pinhole on the front. Collar has writing on- '38' and 'C.F.Moyer'
