Reebok

In 1958, Reebok was established in Bolton, Great Britain as a companion company to J W Foster & Sons.  Making and selling running shoes. The name was chosen from a book won in a race as a child by one of the co-founders.

From 1958, the brand featured the Union Jack in its logo changing to the Vectors logo in ‘86. In 1979 Reebok sports shoes began distribution in the US and officially became an American company in 1985. It began introducing sports clothing and accessories. 

Now owned by Adidas.
