Puma

Puma, is a German multinational corporation that designs and manufactures athletic and casual footwear, apparel and accessories.

Rudolf Dassler founded the company in 1948 after splitting from his brother (Adidas) he continued to make sports shoes and collaborated with others to develop screw in studs for football boots.

In 1968 the Black Power Salute was famously given on the Olympic podium by athletes Smith and Carlos wearing Puma kit.

Puma has a slightly more enlightened attitude toward its environmental impact- even before it became fashionable.
