POLLY PECK 2 Piece Skirt & Jacket SUIT

Vintage 2 Piece Polly Peck Skirt & Jacket by Sybil Zelker

Stunning and highly desirable suit from the 70's. This is a 2 piece suit with a stylish fitted jacket with large pointed collar and lapels, puffed sleeves, 3 button closure and an A-line skirt.  The material is a wine (dark red/burgundy/purple) colour with a white floral pattern.

Cotton velvet but no label to confirm

In very good used condition, no holes or tears.  The skirt seems to have been taken in with new darts at the waist, which need a little attention due to the stitching becoming unravelled and also one of the seams has come unsewn near the waistband(4cm )the small split at the rear of the skirt is also slightly damaged but repairable. For its age however, it is in remarkable condition!

No size label but measurements suggest UK size 12.

Jacket measures flat:

Pit to pit  19" (to fit 36")

Shoulder to Shoulder seam 16"

Nape to hem 21"

Pit to cuff 17"

Skirt measures flat: 

Waist 14" - so slightly larger if later darts removed.

Length 27"
