Full Length Japanese Striped KIMONO

Amazing, vintage, hand stitched, full length kimono in very good condition. The fabric is a light weight possibly silk blend however there are no labels to confirm this. The striped design has varoius shades from dark brown to cream. Traditional kimono styling with rectangular split sleeves and an open front. So versatile and easy to wear. Fully lined in purple and red.

In very good condition, handmade. No snags, marks or tears to the fabric however some wear to the lining edging is apparent, the purple overlining is worn and the red lining beneath is visible in places, also the stitching of the side seams is loose at the top - neither major issues.  This item has been in storage for some time and needs cleaning.

Japanese clothing is usually of adjustable fit, being mostly wrap-over or tie-to-fit items, so most garments fit a range of sizes. Measure from centre back of neck, along shoulder and down the arm to the wrist, then double that and compare it with the sleeve end measurement to judge sleeve length.
