Fred Perry

Fred Perry was founded by the tennis champion in 1952 and adopted by generations of British subcultures ever since. The Laurel Wreath based on the original Wimbledon symbol is the famous logo and the style is unmistakable.

His most famous design is the sports shirt, made from white knitted cotton pique with short sleeves and a buttoned placket. Launched at Wimbledon the tennis shirt was an immediate success.  Coloured versions were later created and twin tipping was added to the trim and the look was created.

With the growth of interest in sports and sports fashion, Fred Perry has become a global seller, its signature sleek, crisp lines and neat finishes have made it a classic look and the range has expanded massively too. Worn and endorsed by celebrities from sports and the music industry such as Amy Winehouse and Bradley Wiggins, the Fred Perry brand continues to develop and grow and also continues to represent well-made classic clothing.
