Falmer Jeans

The Falmers Jean Company hired Peter Golding to develop designer jeans rather than the usual work jeans.  Accordingly in 1970 he created the” World’s First Designer Jeans”, they were sold in trendy clothes shops in the UK. 

In 1974, Peter Golding opened ACE in London, where along with his amazing Denim 3 pin tucks and waistcoat, he would serve other huge stars a range of denim ware. George Best, David Bowie and Marlon Brando were just some of the A list stars who wore Falmers jeans- not to mention Mary Quant!
