YUKI for REMBRANDT Collection 70s Draped DRESS
Stunning, simple silver/grey midi dress by Yuki for the Rembrandt label from the mid to late Seventies. Typical Yuki drapery, so flattering and so lush. Drapes from the neck, front and back and has straps to hold side up to arm. Stunning!
Yuki is a fashion label founded by designer, Gnyuki Torimaru (born in Japan in 1937). He made England his base in the 1960s and studied at the London College Of Fashion, graduating in 1966. He launched his own collection in 1972. He also teamed up with the manufacturer Rembrandt in the mid-1970s to produce a more affordable range of dresses, whilst maintaining the quality and design ethos of his couture work. His designs are recognisable by his fabric pleating techniques.
