Vintage Maxi DRESS by Mary Quant's Ginger Group
A fantastic scoop neck, sleeveless, maxi dress with an empire line. The fabric is tomato red with a bold floral pattern and a purple bow on the front of the bust. The dress has a concealed side zip.
Mary Quant an English innovator in fashion design and retail who exploded onto the London scene and an architect of the swinging sixties. In 1963 Quant launched the Ginger Group Line to distribute her designs.
In very good used condition, no holes, tears or marks, a couple of loose threads but nothing major.
No fabric label, but feels like a cotton blend.
The size label says 11(!) measurements suggest UK 8
