LEONARD FASHION Paris Silk Jersey DRESS

This is a striking 1970s era printed silk jersey dress made in France by Leonard Fashion Paris.  The dress has a high neckline with long sleeves. The dress is constructed to hug the body silhouette and flare to the hemline.  It does up the back with a nylon zipper and is unlined.  The geometric print is really amazing in turquoise, blue, orange and white.

Leonard was a textile business that expanded into garments in 1958, initially printing on English weaves and introducing a line of printed silk jersey in 1968. Leonard Fashion is known for its  complex, colourful mod prints utilized by both during the late 1960s and into the 1970s.  

In very good vintage condition. No marks or holes but it does have several tiny snags to the fabric although these are not very noticeable. Otherwise the fabric is still bright and the zip in GWO.
