Gorgeous Short Japanese KIMONO

Beautiful Short KIMONO

Amazing, vintage, short kimono in very good condition. The fabric is a mid-weight probably silk however there are no labels to confirm this. Purple with a floral pattern. Traditional kimono styling with rectangular split sleeves and an open front. So versatile and easy to wear. Lining also beautiful!

In very good condition, handmade and unusually doesn't appear to need any repairs at all! No tears. This item has been in storage for some time and has some dirty marks on the sleeves. It also has a very small snag to the rear by the arm hole - not major.

Japanese clothing is usually of adjustable fit, being mostly wrap-over or tie-to-fit items, so most garments fit a range of sizes.  Measure from centre back of neck, along shoulder and down the arm to the wrist, then double that and compare it with the sleeve end measurement to judge sleeve length.
