Short Pale Pink Japanese KIMONO

Amazing, vintage, hand stitched, short kimono in very good condition. The fabric is a silk or a silk blend however there are no labels to confirm type. The floral design is in red, green and blue with a pale pink background. Traditional kimono styling with rectangular split sleeves and an open front. So versatile and easy to wear. Half lined with a contrasting stone and orange silk.

In excellent condition, handmade. No snags or tears to the fabric. Has a couple of faint marks but nothing major.

Japanese clothing is usually of adjustable fit, being mostly wrap-over or tie-to-fit items, so most garments fit a range of sizes. Measure from centre back of neck, along shoulder and down the arm to the wrist, then double that and compare it with the sleeve end measurement to judge sleeve length.
