Short Japanese Peach Patterned KIMONO

Beautiful  KIMONO

Amazing, vintage, kimono in very good condition. The fabric is a mid-weight probably silk however there are no labels to confirm this. Peach coloured with a floral and butterfly pattern. Traditional kimono styling with rectangular split sleeves and an open front and a tie fastening. So versatile and easy to wear. Half lined - sleeves and shoulders.

In very good condition, handmade and unusually doesn't appear to need any repairs at all! No tears or snags. This item has been in storage for some time. the lining has a few marks which may come out with cleaning- not major.

Japanese clothing is usually of adjustable fit, being mostly wrap-over or tie-to-fit items, so most garments fit a range of sizes.  Measure from centre back of neck, along shoulder and down the arm to the wrist, then double that and compare it with the sleeve end measurement to judge sleeve length.
