JOHN COLLIER 3 Piece Teddy Boy SUIT
Superb Vintage three piece Teddy Boy suit styled by Design Circle for John Collier.
Dates from late-60s/ early-70s
Original vintage drape suit in black with contrasting burgundy velvet collar, cuffs and covered buttons.
The jacket has a long shawl collar, fastens with a single velvet button and has velvet cuffs trimmed with 3 buttons. Padded shoulders and a gold lining with inside pocket. The jacket has three outer welt pockets.
The trousers are flat fronted with welt pockets and tapered, narrow legs.
The waistcoat has four covered buttons, two welt pockets and a gold back to match the jacket lining with size adjuster. It is lined in white.
Pure New Wool Shell
All in very good condition, no marks, holes or snags, the velvet is a little faded.

Jacket- pit to pit 20 inches, pit to cuff 19 inches, shoulder seam to seam 17.5 inches, nape to hem 35 inches
Waistcoat- pit to pit 19 inches, nape to hem 24 inches
Trousers- waist 15 inches, rise 10 inches, inside leg 29 inches, hem 7 inches
